Coriander Studio, one of the UK's foremost print-makers and publishers, is merging with CCA galleries (formerly Christie's Contemporary Art) to form a world-leader in making and publishing original limited edition prints.
Both Companies were established in 1972, and have consistently worked together over the intervening years to produce limited editions with artists including Sir Peter Blake, Sir Terry Frost RA, Sandra Blow RA, Donald Hamilton-Fraser RA, John Hoyland RA, Barbara Rae CBE RA.
Considering the synergy of the companies, merging Coriander and CCA Galleries is a natural progression. CCA Galleries Limited now comprises these two complementary businesses. Coriander's operations remain at its home in Perivale, where it will continue to trade as Coriander Studio, and continue its work as a print-maker and co-publisher with third parties: CCA Galleries and Coriander will combine their in-house publications remit.
Brad Faine has been appointed divisional Managing Director of Coriander Studio and joins the board of CCA Galleries, as do Dan Faine and Clare Basset. Gillian Duke remains as Director of Publishing, Sales and Marketing and Ann Hicks remains as UK Trade Manager.
Lance Trevellyan, Chairman of CCA Galleries said of the merger: 'the enlarged enterprise will remain true to its history and principles of excellence of the benefit of both artists and collectors alike'.
